    Our Denominational Affiliation

We belong to the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church.  Founded in 1885 by Swedish Immigrants, we "value the Bible as the Word of God, the gift of God's grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God's love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity."

    Who We Are Today

Our church views ourselves as a compassionate and commited family.  Members are friendly, loving, and informal.  Our  congregation fosters an atmosphere in which people can readily become acquainted and feel accepted and welcome.

    Our Church History

Visalia Community Covenant Church came out of a Fellowship Group by seven former Covenanters in 1977.  In August of 1978, Pastor Wes Sundberg was called as Development Pastor to plant a church in the Visalia community.  Through the years, we have adopted a vision that states simply that we want "To Know Christ and Make Him Known".

    Our Vision for the Future

We are seeking to fully understand and embrace God's call for our church and to fulfill the mission that God has given us.  With the help of our new pastor, we will establish a vision for our church and begin its implementation.
